This Japanese candle is ideal for altars, household shrines, moments of tranquility, or enhancing the dining atmosphere. 

 

Crafted from natural materials using traditional Edo-period techniques, each candle features a handmade wick made from washi paper, rush pith, and silk floss, coated in layers of melted Japanese wax through the ancient nakakage method.

 

The candle's flame offers a gentle, steady flicker that brings warmth and calm to any space. Unlike petroleum-based candles, they produce minimal soot and scent, and the wax does not drip when shielded from drafts, ensuring a clean burn to the end.
