Hand-thrown multi-functional tea pitcher with a built-in tea filter by ceramic artist Longfei at tōsei studio located in central Copenhagen. Each piece is unique. Also great as a small coffee pitcher.
The finish Dragon Scales 龍鱗 is one of Tōsei’s signature. It uses the most fundamental and traditional glazing technique of only using clay. Two types of wild Danish clay, collected on Zealand and Jutland respectively, are selected after many tests and mixed into making the Dragon Scales. The finish renders the shimmering erratic scales of dragons soaring through dark chasms.
