Straw Amulet | Wa Kazari

A simple rice straw wreath. The wreath is twisted together from rice straw and looped into a simple design.

It is made from rice straw (harvested in autumn) after the rice harvest, rather than the green straw (harvested in summer) that is often used in Takubo’s straw crafts. It is stronger than green straw, and you can feel the roughness that is the natural texture of the straw.

To clean, gently wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Avoid getting it wet, and store it in dry places.

Due to the natural material, please handle with care. The amulet is very fragile and may break if not handled carefully.

The color of the rice straw changes from green to golden yellow over time due to exposure to light and humidity. Therefore, the received amulet may vary in color.
