The Houju is adorned with three Shimenawa ropes. It symbolized good luck, purification, and wish fulfillment—an ornament believed to ward off misfortune and make wishes come true.

This amulet is made using the golden/yellow straw instead of the green straw mowed right before the rice ripens.

Due to the natural material, please handle with care. The amulet is very fragile and may break if not handled carefully.

The color of the rice straw changes from green to golden yellow over time due to exposure to light and humidity. Therefore, the received amulet may vary in color.
